Sexual distinction Junho 6, 2008

I´m not a feminist but I like to fight for the women´s rights…well, fight isn´t the word. Discuss, yes, discuss the women´s rights. It´s strange but we are in 2008…man did many discovers, evolved…but some things remain unchanged. When we talk about our species we say: MAN! This, probably, it´s the first error. Could somebody explain to me why nobody remembered  to create a neutral word?

I know that some things have changed, women have more rights now. Although, we can´t forget that discrimination against women still exists. We find discrimination in our houses (women  clean, cook, take care of children´s…), at work (lower salaries, it´s hard for women to get better jobs), for instance.

I hope that in a near future these things change!!!

A long long long time ago…ok, not so long…but long….couples stayed together until on of them die. Nowadays couples marry and one or two years later broke up. What is happening?

The world changed, the cultures changed and the societies changed…then…marriege change too…it´s like a snow ball…everthing changed. But this is not enough to explain this phenomenom.

When I walk on street I like to watch the people around me and their behaviours. Lately, old couples get my attention. I have seen many couples in their 80´s and 90´s together and help each other. It´s beautiful to look at that people who lived together for 50 or 60 years.

Young couples, by the other side, marry and some time after they begin to say “this relation came in a routine…I see you everday…we argue all the time…”. Well, it makes me think is this: don´t old couples fall in a routine? Don´t they argue too?…YES! But, they have a simple thing that makes the difference: pacience and comprehension. In our days, couples forget those kind of things and prefer to give up of their relations very quicky.
