I´m not a feminist but I like to fight for the women´s rights…well, fight isn´t the word. Discuss, yes, discuss the women´s rights. It´s strange but we are in 2008…man did many discovers, evolved…but some things remain unchanged. When we talk about our species we say: MAN! This, probably, it´s the first error. Could somebody explain to me why nobody remembered  to create a neutral word?

I know that some things have changed, women have more rights now. Although, we can´t forget that discrimination against women still exists. We find discrimination in our houses (women  clean, cook, take care of children´s…), at work (lower salaries, it´s hard for women to get better jobs), for instance.

I hope that in a near future these things change!!!

A long long long time ago…ok, not so long…but long….couples stayed together until on of them die. Nowadays couples marry and one or two years later broke up. What is happening?

The world changed, the cultures changed and the societies changed…then…marriege change too…it´s like a snow ball…everthing changed. But this is not enough to explain this phenomenom.

When I walk on street I like to watch the people around me and their behaviours. Lately, old couples get my attention. I have seen many couples in their 80´s and 90´s together and help each other. It´s beautiful to look at that people who lived together for 50 or 60 years.

Young couples, by the other side, marry and some time after they begin to say “this relation came in a routine…I see you everday…we argue all the time…”. Well, it makes me think is this: don´t old couples fall in a routine? Don´t they argue too?…YES! But, they have a simple thing that makes the difference: pacience and comprehension. In our days, couples forget those kind of things and prefer to give up of their relations very quicky.

The Men’s Health magazine will be directed by actor Pedro Lima, although Pedro Lima doesn´t have portfolio as a journalist that is required to this function.

The administration of Men´s Helth has already admitted that will make the request. It seems that they did not know it was necessary to take professional portfolio.

In statements ,João Ferreira, the Director of magazine said to JN “When we decided to seek a director, we knew what we wanted. After some contacts came the name of Pedro Lima that fits in the spirit that we are seeking: someone who is identified with the magazine, which was sportsman, who had family and that could bring some added value.”.

Four people were arrested in Spain for involvement in an operation to purchase and sell a baby with just 15 days, that the biological mother delivered in return for 500 euros.

The arrested were the biological mother, the couple who bought the baby and the intermediate who sells the baby to the couple.

The complaint was made by a nurse who made a medical examination to the baby, just 15 days, raised suspicions about the behaviour of the couple who introduced himself as parents.

The four detainess were presented to a judge and released on parole. The baby have been taken from the biological mother.

It´s definitive, José Morinho is the new coach of F.C. Internazionale Milano, known as Inter Milan. He signed for three seasons.

Mourinho presented himself in italian and answered in the same language to the journalists on the press conference.

When the journalist asked “In 2004, you described yourself as ’special’, what do you want to be called now?”, Mourinho responded “I have arrived at a special club, and when a club is like this the coach becomes an extra person. I’m not forgetting that I’m a great coach, but I don’t want to be special.”.

José Mourinho said that Inter is a very important challenge for him.

         He believes that the team just needs two or three players to improve and be even more competitive.

Like usually, Mourinho is already ground for conversation and analysis in almost all social communication and societies.

The expectation to see Amy Winehouse here in Portugal was high. During the first day of the Rock in Rio Lisbon 2008, many of the 90 thousand visitors of the City of Rock hoped to the debut of British Amy Winehouse on the stages of Portugal.

Amy appeared only 40 minutes after appointment and she justified the delay like this: “Excuse me for the delay, but my voice is in a bad shape, I should have cancelled the concert”.

Amy proved to be very communicative, but sometimes it was almost impossible to understand what she said, because she was drunk.

After a failed attempt to play guitar, a few trips on the stage and many laughs of the public, the concert came to an end with a very weak ’Valerie’.

This concert was very important to decided if Amy was in conditions to made the American tour. But, unfortunately, after this performance it´s hard to said that she is ready for it.
